Dustin Greenup exhorts a sense of wisdom well beyond his years. He is the son of Jim Greenup a developer with a long standing heritage and though he follows in his father’s footsteps he is bringing a lot more to the table than just the family name. Being born into a real estate family Dustin has had hands on real estate training since childhood. He attended Northwest Christian School throughout grade, middle and high school and after graduating attended Whitworth University where he earned his BA in Business Management and Economics. One of the things he values about his scholastic training is the framing and structure that education provided to build his life for years to come. His schooling also opened his eyes to the opportunities that exist to give back to the community of Spokane and through wise decision making he is constantly striving to take advantage of those opportunities.

Dustin’s clients draw from the strength of his multi-dimensional background and his “big on budgeting” philosophies. He has the keen ability to look at every element of a situation then take a step back to see his client’s big picture and with precision minimize any risk that may exist. Dustin exudes mature confidence and is humbled by the trust that his customers bestow on him to buy or sell their home. He takes great satisfaction in helping his clients and friends when they have a real life need.

He is a man who enjoys reading biographies and how stories of people from the past inspire him with the intricate details of their lives and the lessons they have learned. One book that left an impact on him is “Don’t Waste Your Life” written by his favorite author John Piper. The message he appreciated and is applying these days to his own life is the calling on a younger generation to make a difference and to do things that matter and last. He was recently married in 2005 to his beautiful wife Heidi and loves to do everything and nothing with her. He says she has brought a great deal of balance to his life and is anxious to start a family with her. He also says that her perspective is priceless and shows him daily other more compassionate ways of looking at his real estate career. Prior to joining his father in real estate developing full time he spent internships at both Smith Barney and Sirti which he says aided in giving him the hunger to see Spokane develop in the bio-medical, business and real estate industry. Though the strong Greenup name brings a natural sense of stability to the table, he has prayerfully seized the opportunities before him and applied hard work and talent to grow his successful career.

Dustin is a realtor that believes in treating his client’s assets more important than his own, that he exists to spread a passion for the supremacy of Jesus Christ for the joy of all people and that he should be constantly growing both spiritually and as a business man. He is the half next to his father that encourages fresh thinking and he keeps the team current on technology and striving for higher excellence.

As he looks to the future and his role in redevelopment he envisions himself not just as a developer of new construction but also a man who brings help to neighborhoods that need it. While presently he focuses on new construction he has already begun the think tank process on how he will relate it to helping people in lower income neighborhoods improve on their lifestyles rather than just pushing them out for the sake of new buildup. He loves to be on the innovative side of developing and to do things that have never been done before. He cares about the people of this city and the city itself. As a client you will benefit from his level headed thinking, broad scope of knowledge and his genuine friendship.
